Koutalas Beach, also written Koutalis, lies near Kokkino Chorio on the coast around Cape Drepano. It is a small natural cove for visitors who prefer rocky scenery to rows of beach umbrellas.

Large pebbles, stones and steep rocky sides define the shore. Beach facilities are absent, and the surrounding sea caves are specialist environments rather than casual swimming attractions.

Kalyves, Almyrida and Georgioupolis offer different seaside bases within the wider Apokoronas area. Choose a beach village for easy swimming sessions or an inland village if you prefer a rural setting and have transport. Check your actual route to the shore rather than relying on a straight-line distance.
Practical Tip
Do not enter sea caves independently or follow divers into specialist sites. A beach used by dive operators is not evidence that its caves are safe for casual visitors.
